Rates vary for face painting depending on your event type. Standard 2-hour private parties (birthdays etc. <25 guests to be painted) start at $200. In general, arrangements can be made to hire me at an hourly rate though some events are better served by per face model. Please contact me with details of your event, so I can give you an exact quote.
It depends! For birthday parties and other small gathering with a known # of guests I like to plan on ~5-8 minutes per face ( 8-12 faces). For events with more guests or unknown numbers I can simplify design options so that individual designs can be painted in <3 minutes.
I will! I charge per mile rate for distances >25 miles. I charge an additional $1/mile beyond 25 miles on a one way basis. (Distances are calculated from Yarmouth, ME).
The paints I typically use are NOT waterproof. They will wash off easily with soap and water or cosmetic remover wipes. If you are interested in waterproof paints for a party that may include water (e.g. pool party) please reach out to discuss as there are options available (I just don’t stock them). That said, the sooner you contact me the more likely I can accommodate your waterproof requests.
Totally! I can paint designs on many other areas that are acceptable for public exposure.
Depending on the event I will plan on arriving between 15-30 minutes ahead of my scheduled start time. Larger events with more guests may require longer to set up and outdoor events will require at least 45 minutes if there is a tent required.
Well…that depends. On the event, on the audience, and on discretion. I will not generally paint anything that is considered broadly offensive or profane. My goal is to make people at your event smile…not feel uncomfortable or confronted. Nothing derogatory, nothing that will scare the other guests (especially if it’s a children’s event) and other reasonable boundaries.
Email or message me through my socials, call or text me to discuss booking. Once you pay a $50 non-refundable booking fee and we agree on terms for your event – you are on the books and all set! For payments I accept: cash, Venmo, PayPal or credit/debit cards (processing fees may apply).
Upon booking I do require a $50 non-refundable, booking fee. This fee will ensure your date and time are reserved. For most events I do require a contract to be signed prior to finalizing the plan and your paying the booking fee. All can be done digitally for our mutual convenience! Remaining balances will be due on the day of the event and must be paid before painting begins.
